Recovery Alive: Self-Help Book & Spanish Layout

This self-help book about substance recovery was more of a redesign and typesetting project than a creative one. The author wanted a Spanish translation, but didn’t have editable files. With Adobe InDesign, I first needed to recreate the page design and text styles based on the English version, but some changes were made to better fit the longer Spanish translation. Once I completed the template redesign, I could do the full Spanish typesetting. With over 20 years of multilingual typesetting experience, this was no problem for me. Parts of the book are set up more as a workbook for the reader to write in answers to questions. I also converted this for ePub and Kindle versions.
