Avant Guide Prague: Guidebook Design

This traveler’s guidebook became the prototype for Avant Guides new book design which featured many new innovations. Besides the standard listings, I created tables at the end of each section for quick contact references, and simplified a city map that shows locations of each sight. The soft cover also included an extra flap that contained a mini guidebook that reused the tables and maps for quick reference while on the go. I used Adobe InDesign for the template design and layout plus for making the tables at the end of each chapter, Photoshop to edit images and Illustrator for editing the maps.
